Haus of Codec Presents: Living Colors Annual Fundraiser

Providence, RI – June 1st, 2024 – Haus of Codec is delighted to announce the much-anticipated annual fundraiser’s 2024 theme, Living Colors, aimed at supporting the organization's mission to end youth homelessness. This year's event promises to be an evening of inspiration, entertainment, and will provide Haus of Codec an opportunity to honor community members and partners who have made their work possible this year.

Haus of Codec’s Living Colors Annual Fundraiser will feature a silent auction featuring an array of exciting items and experiences generously donated by local businesses and supporters, live entertainment, engaging and creative activities and more! 

"We're thrilled to host our annual fundraiser, Living Colors, and rally support to end youth homelessness in Rhode Island," said Julio E. Berroa, Haus of Codec’s Executive Director. "This event is not only an opportunity to raise funds but also a chance to unite our community in making a meaningful impact."

The event will mark Haus of Codec’s third full year providing emergency housing services to LGBTQQIA+ Youth (Ages 18 - 24) in Rhode Island and the development of three housing programs, The Haus of Codec Emergency Shelter, New Horizons, their Transitional Housing Facility and their Rapid Rehousing program. Since the organization’s inception, Haus of Codec has supported over 60 youth and has provided over $150,000 in rental support to ensure youth remain housed. 

Haley Peters, Haus of Codec’s Board Chair, adds, “An evening full of vibrance and community, Living Colors, is an opportunity to show up, get connected, and continue Haus of Codec’s mission to end youth homelessness in RI.”
